Janeice Evans, MA, LPC

Janeice Evans earned her Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in law from Queens University of Charlotte and a Masters in Counseling with an Emphasis on Mental Health from Webster University. She possesses over 14 years of experience in the human services/counseling profession. Janeice has worked with a variety of populations with the goal of enhancing their lives through empowering the individual to identify, confront and resolve the very thing which is hindering them from living a happy and fulfilled life.
Janeice embraces and utilizes a holistic approach to therapy. She is a firm believer that every aspect of an individual’s existence is an important factor in true healing. Through utilization of this perspective Janeice explores an individual's mental, emotional, physical, financial and spiritual health along with life experiences to develop the most effective plan of treatment for long-term life changes. She encourages her clients to gain an understanding of how their life experiences have influenced their present mindset and aid them in challenging these thoughts, thus reframing their thought process. This change in how they see and manage themselves and their lives will further improve their ability to enhance every aspect of their life.
Janeice truly has a passion for helping people and enjoys seeing clients’ overcome personal, professional, relational or life challenges. She subscribes to the thought that the desire to heal is a personal choice and the power of one’s ability to change undesired aspects of their life lies within them. Janeice is open to working with anyone who is truly ready and willing to put in the work needed to bring about the changes they desire to see in their life.

Janet Foster, MEd, LPC

Janet Foster received her MEd in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University.  She has been trained and in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT); Expressive Arts Therapy;  Dream Analysis; Certified in Career and Performance coaching. She believes in using an eclectic style of therapy in order to achieve the best results for the client. Everyone is different.  Their path to growth and discovery needs to be customized to their individual needs.
​Her areas of interest lie in working with individuals on various levels from different backgrounds. Her areas of focus include but are not limited to: Depression; Anxiety; Personality Disorders; Eating Disorders; Trauma Processing; Family Disruptions; Phase of Life Challenges; Identity Issues; Grief and Loss; Divorce and Separation Support; Couples; Parenting; Anger Management; Self-esteem; Suicide Ideation; Codependency; Occupational challenges; Career Counseling.
​We all have an internal narrative that rehearses in our brains which sets the stage for our lives. Janet works with the client to reinvent that internal narrative in order to create and maintain a new version of self.  She truly believes everyone has the potential to be great!

Ayanna McNeil, MA, LPC, NCC

Ayanna McNeil received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Webster University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the State of South Carolina. Ayanna has over 10 years of experience working with children to include elementary, middle and high school students.
​Ayanna has a desire to help others and is dedicated to work with all populations. She holds a certification from safeTALK (suicide alertness) and has also completed training in psychological first aid, threat recognition and emotional intelligence. Ayanna brings her positive attitude and passion to the counseling field in hopes to make a difference in the lives of many.
Ayanna’s areas of interest include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, child or adolescent, coping skills, family conflict, life transitions, oppositional defiance, peer relationships, school issues, self-esteem, and stress management.

Deana Tucker, MA, LPC, LAC, LPCS

Deana Tucker is a native of South Carolina and has worked in human services/helping profession for over 15 years. Deana is a Clinical Counselor, a Certified Addictions Counselor II for the state of South Carolina, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and Grief Recovery Specialist.
​Deana has experience with providing services in outpatient, home, and residential settings. She has helped individuals work vital life issues that include anxiety, depression , self-esteem, decision making, grief, anger, behavioral and crisis management. Qualified in addictions and experience with Trauma Focused CBT, CBT, DBT and EMDR. 
​"I believe that acceptance and acknowledgement of mental health has evolved, but continues to loom in the atmosphere with so many stigmas. Many times in life we need assistance to un- mesh our circumstances, dissect emotions and challenge unhealthy behaviors that have been ingrained."

Francis P. Segedin, Ph.D., LPC/S, NCC

Dr. Francis Segedin received his Ph. D. from the University of Wyoming in counselor education and supervision. He received a Master of Arts degree in counseling from Ball State University. He has a wide variety of experience working with children, individuals, couples, and families. Counseling is a process in which change can take place as the client sets their goals in a user- friendly environment where empowerment, collaboration, and growth can take place.

Dr. Segedin uses the methods of solution oriented brief therapy, structural, systemic, and narrative schools of family therapy. The goal is for the clients to learn how to help themselves.  Clients are empowered to find meaningful ways to change and overcome the challenges they face.

Relationship difficulties, communication skills, anger management, trauma, abuse, life transitions, depression, bereavement, assertiveness, stress management, loss, separation, sexual orientation, spirituality, career issues.

Brandi Palmer, LPCA

Brandi Palmer is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate dedicated to and passionate about working with individuals to help them learn useful tools, skills, and strategies to help bring wellness, stability, and resiliency in their lives. Brandi’s educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Master of Social Work, and Educational Specialist in Counselor Education from the University of South Carolina. Brandi has experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, depression, self-esteem issues, managing life’s transitions, and relationship issues. She is also familiar with the military lifestyle and embrace working with diverse clientele.

 

Brandi strongly believes counseling should be a collaborative process and which takes both time and commitment from both parties involved. Each client is unique and their individual circumstances, wishes, or concerns during counseling will not be disregarded, undervalued, or discriminated against.

 

Brandi’s approach towards therapy incorporates a holistic and empowering approach based on each client’s unique needs. Clients are the experts regarding their own lives, and she offers a supportive and safe environment to help them achieve their goals and explore growth and change. She provides both individual and group counseling for adolescents and adults incorporating aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy and brief solution-focused therapy.
